About VidClip
VidClip is a set of video utilities (trim, compress, convert to MP4, video to GIF, video to MP3, mute, resize) that run entirely in your browser using FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly.
That architecture is the whole point. Every mainstream "free online video tool" uploads your footage to their servers, processes it there, and makes you wait through a queue for the privilege. Your video may be a family moment, a client deliverable, or something you simply don't want on someone else's disk. Here it never leaves your machine: the file is read locally, processed locally, and downloaded locally.
The free tier covers every tool with a small semi-transparent corner watermark on video exports and a 200 MB file cap. Pro removes the watermark and the cap, and unlocks the instant lossless paths (stream-copy trim and mute) that skip re-encoding entirely. Audio extraction has no watermark on any tier.
VidClip is built and run by one person — more on the author page. Questions, bugs, ideas: Mark@Reinventing.AI.
