VidClip Pro
The tools are free. Pro makes them decide for you.
Free VidClip gives you every tool and a pile of knobs. Pro gives you outcomes: a file that fits the limit, settings chosen from where the video is going, and a plan when the job takes more than one step.
- No account, ever
- Activates instantly
- Files still never upload

Things you can only do with Pro
New capability, not unlocked buttons
Compress to an exact size
Name a ceiling — 10 MB for Discord, 25 for email — and the encoder solves the bitrate to land under it. Quality presets can't do this; they target quality and let the size fall where it falls.
Tell it where the video is going
Describe the destination in a sentence and the settings fill themselves in. It reads the duration and dimensions your browser already parsed — the footage itself never leaves your machine.
Plan a multi-step edit
Say what you want to end up with and get the sequence of tools to get there, in the order that doesn't waste quality, with the settings for each step.
Transcribe a recording into an organised document
Audio or video in, a structured transcript out — title, summary, headed sections, clean paragraphs, action items. This is the one tool that uploads: the audio is stripped and downsampled in your browser first, and only that is sent. It's labelled clearly on the tool and opt-in per file.
Contact sheets
Twelve frames sampled across a clip in a single image — the fastest way to find the moment you want or check footage you haven't watched.
Instant lossless trim and mute
Stream-copy paths that finish in about a second on a file of any size, with zero quality loss, because nothing is re-encoded.
And the free-tier limits go away
No watermark on any export
Free video exports carry a small corner mark. Pro exports carry nothing.
No file-size cap
The free tier stops at 200 MB. Pro is limited only by what your browser can hold in memory.
Every tool, including future ones
One licence covers the whole set as it grows. Every tool except Transcribe processes entirely in your browser with no upload — and Transcribe says so on its own page before you use it.

The honest terms
The 6-month plan is a subscription: it renews automatically every 6 months until you cancel, and cancelling takes one click from your Stripe receipt — access runs to the end of the period you paid for. The lifetime licence is one payment; nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Both activate instantly with a licence key you paste on the activation page — no account is ever created.
The AI features have a daily ceiling of 100 calls per key. That is far more than editing video actually takes and low enough that a script cannot run up a bill. Everything else is unmetered.
What Pro deliberately does not change
Your files never leave your machine on either tier. There is no upload on the free plan that Pro removes, and no faster server queue to buy — there is no server. Pro pays for the tools, not for privacy, because privacy here is a property of how the thing is built rather than a feature that could be withheld.
